Learn moreTime and again, parents of our pediatric patients asked “Can we come here?” We listened — and now serve our late adolescent and adult population with the same gentle philosophy.
Learn morePEDIATRICS
Our doctors and staff have received extra training in pediatric dentistry and are dedicated to providing compassionate, comfortable care to every patient. From our newly designed waiting room, to age-appropriate toys and games in our hygiene bay, to specially mounted iPads for longer procedures, we work to give our patients an enjoyable dental experience!
A child's first dental visit should follow the eruption of the first primary tooth, usually around age one. We educate parents on hygiene, diet, and habits like thumb-sucking, and provide a dental home for emergencies.
Patients with special healthcare needs are evaluated individually to determine how best to make them comfortable, using a readiness questionnaire and a picture story book that walks through the visit in child-friendly language.
Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) offers a calming, conscious sedation option for anxious patients. For care that requires general anesthesia, our doctors hold privileges at Franciscan Hospital for Children.
Recall visits every six months include cleaning, exam, fluoride and x-rays as needed, plus sealants and Silver Diamine Fluoride — a painless, no-drill option to slow or stop early decay.
Parents are always welcome in the exam room. We use simple, friendly terms and playful interaction to make first cleanings and first fillings a positive experience — feel free to bring a favorite cuddly toy!
Rubbing sore gums with a clean finger or cold, wet cloth helps during teething. If your child falls and injures their mouth, our pediatric dentists can be reached during and after office hours.
ORTHODONTICS
In addition to quality pediatric dental care, we provide orthodontic treatment for children, adolescents, special needs patients and adults, using traditional appliances, clear ceramic braces and Clarity® clear aligners — led by Dr. Kevin Schack, who is certified in Invisalign and Incognito braces.
Our recommended age for a first orthodontic exam to monitor jaw growth and permanent tooth eruption, preventing costlier treatment down the road.
Pay in full for a 5% bookkeeping courtesy, or use our in-house payment plan — a down payment with equal, interest-free monthly payments.
